| Precedent established | It has been observed that the action of Pokhara Metropolitan City in dumping waste into the Seti River does not comply with the responsibilities prescribed by law and is contrary to the legal provisions. Therefore, in response to the petitioner's request, a directive will be issued in the name of Pokhara Metropolitan City to cease the dumping of waste into the Seti River—specifically at the sites near the China Bridge on the Prithvi Highway, and along the banks of the Seti River near the Pokhara Airport and the Pokhara Stadium within 15 days. This directive will be issued under Section 8(2) of the Administration of Justice Act, 1991. |
