Court Order
Precedent established There is no dispute that it is the primary duty of the respondent industry to operate without causing environmental destruction. Considering both the necessity to meet human needs and the inevitability of development, industries must be operated in a manner that maintains environmental balance. Although it does not seem appropriate to issue a directive to shut down the industry or relocate it based on the applicant's request, given that the industry has demonstrated sensitivity to environmental and water pollution issues in its written response and committed to preventing such problems, it is essential not to neglect these matters. Instead, it is necessary to be sensitive to these issues and ensure that actions are taken. Therefore, a directive should be issued in the name of the industry, Bhrikuti Pulp and Paper Nepal, to immediately install a Water Treatment Plant to ensure that water is discharged in a purified state, and to effectively use a Dust Collector to prevent the mixing of dust with smoke.
